- When I was young there was a magic waterfall in my back yard it was covered in ivy that flowed down the mountain side like Rapunzel's hair. I would convince my friends to climb the ivy and escape into the forest to create make believe cities and towns and we would be the towns people. The waterfall and forest in my back yard had vibrant colors and textures and was my canvas as a child. I now incorporate these memories into my paintings. I am a self taught artist living in Oregon. My work is inspired by people, media and nature and I paint almost continuously! All pieces are designed and created by me with my beloved brushes and paint. Each painting is one of a kind with many hours poured into them. I also incorporate recycled canvases, wood and other preloved things. My mom has been very influential in my craft, she is really supportive and positive. In more recent years my husband, daughters and baby boy have been my cheerleaders at home and Millie wants to keep everything. Thanks for stopping in I am honored to share my work with you!
